Annual Meeting at One Dance Centre
Minutes

1.  Acknowledgement of Alice Honig's award

2.   Summary of 2009 accomplishments
o	Discussion of the UNSAAC walking patrol and the possibility of combining with the 
neighborhood safety patrol
o	Asking for ideas of things we could do in the neighborhood
1.	an activity on Harvard Place?
2.	Neighborhood Watch
3.	garage sale, possibly timed with SU students coming in the fall
4.	WCC winter event with WENA participation - music event, dining week, outside 
movies
5.	Resurrect the Renaissance study? some parts are still relevant

6.	Resurrect the code enforcement committee?
o	Discussion of the problems with parking and the parking lot, as well as the lot behind the 
Westcott Theater: Nader Maroun will follow up
o	Discussion of sidewalks, the pilot project, and the Rochester plan: focus on snow removal 
as first step toward a "user fee" model for sidewalk repair and maintenance.

3.  Treasurer's report 
o	Current balance $2489.49 compared to last year's $3091.94
o	Major fundraiser in the past was the house tour - not done recently
o	Garage sale may be a good fundraiser

4.   Kate Ninno is the new SU Community Relations associate - grew up here - Nottingham class of '03

5.   Discussion of One Village Dance Centre 
o	Wacheva Cultural Arts (Jill and Biboti) - adult activities - and Parents Promoting Dance - 
youth activities - are partners
o	Difficult for small businesses to navigate through the city bureaucracy; expert help needed 
to navigate process, complete forms, etc.
o	Looking to partner with other organizations

Election results - entire ballot elected - no write-ins: 10 ballots returned
o	Barbara Humphrey: 10
